003 Bodies in Space
Collection 001 at Musholm, Denmark.
In October 2026, Ettra travelled to Musholm, an accessible architectural space on the Danish coast, to photograph its first collection.
Developed by the Danish Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (Muskelsvindfonden), Musholm is a place where accessibility is considered an integral part of the architectural experience, rather than an addition to it.
This made it a particularly meaningful setting for Ettra.
Much like architecture, clothing shapes the relationship between our bodies and the environments we inhabit. Both can enable movement, offer protection and create opportunities for expression. Both can also impose limitations when designed around narrow assumptions about how bodies should function.
For this editorial, four models with different bodily experiences came together to wear pieces from Ettra’s first collection.
The garments explore the meeting between sculptural form and everyday function, with particular attention to construction, materiality and the ways clothing interacts with the body.
Photographed against Musholm's architectural surroundings, the collection becomes part of a broader conversation about bodies, space and the possibilities of inclusive design.
The images are not intended to present one ideal way of wearing clothing, but to celebrate the different ways garments can be inhabited.
A study of form, movement and the spaces between.
